LONG POST AHEAD!!!!
as i said for the freaking infinity times..
*geesh.i find myself so annoying for keep repeating it*
pfffft
i spend my 3/4 of my semester break practicing chinese traditional dance
for one of the major competition we ever participate
"21st century dance festival for International Arts Festival"
..another project by the 21st Century Cultural Arts Development (Singapore)..
i was not very keen about it at first
since its chinese traditional dance
which indirectly..err..or directly means
i need to force pretend to be gentle
pfft.frankly,too much of traditional dance has causing me to lose my "hip hoppers" style
the way i reacts,the way i talk and everything
is so freaking traditional wei..
*phew.luckily i am dancing for da yao (modern dance) or else,i will be doooooooom,i tell you, DOOM!!*
okay,back to the topic
been practicing from morning til night and the same old routine again for the next day
basically,we woke up early for breakfast
followed by practice
and then.lunch time which i adore so much since i get the chance to eat ikan keli
hehe!
and followed by practice again
and thank god that they have cancelled the night practice
weee!

bummer..mmph!
because basically,sleeping is what i do when cassey (the head) gives us break
guess i am just too tired that i dont even bother to sleep on the "lotus" thingy eventhough it is dirty
LOL
but i do remember there are some pictures taken by voon
first day of dance practice is so freaking suffering
just like hell
we need to get used of walking with the props
you 'll understand what the heck am i talking soon..!!
walking with it leads to uncountable times of falling
blue black all around our knees and everything
but giving up is the last thing we wanted to do
hehehe!
i like the spirit of our chinese dance group member!
we pratice and practice
and we gone through ups and downs together
trying to learn from the mistakes that we have made TOGETHER
trying to correct it TOGETHER
trying to sychronized our movements TOGETHER
basically
we laugh.we practice.we angry.we moody TOGETHER
it shows the co-operation between us
thanks to the very much of TOGETHERNESS
they as in my other dance members TOGETHER kenakan me
our beloved dance teacher wont be there with us during the competition
bummer again..mmph!
so,we need to make up and do our own hair on our own
hence,she needs one voluntary for her to make up
and another one for her to get her hair done
and a very big thank you.i got chosen for the make up thingy
just because i have darker skin,doesnt mean i need to be the one
ishhh..hahahahah!
they pointed at me when the teacher asked who wanna be the voluntary
talk about the TOGETHERNESS
pffft

and guess the final product aint the same as what my dance teacher wants
LMAO!

later on, all of them co-operate and kenakan voon
voon was get chosen to do the hideous hairdo.LMAO
but it does not turn out as bad as we think it is

the atmosphere gets a little bit emotional
since it was our last time to practice before we actually perform in genting
but as what they said,we've already win
because we have learned a lot from each other
awwwwww..!!

finally,thought that i can get a proper sleep
but later on,got a message from cassey that we need to perform for the stuck-up big people VIPs
since its perkampungan FESENI
the VIPs wanted to see all the performers to perform
first stop,accoustic and pop band
nice song.nice band..hehe!
and it seriously can get my arse off to groove along with the music.hahaha!
followed by dikir barat,nasyid,theatre and indian dance
and not to forget..CHOIR!!
and it seriously gives me goosebumps while listening to them
BRAVO!!!
especially since my babe madelyn is in choir group.hahaha!
last and final performance would be us
thanks christine and the gang for helping us to clear the hall
cause i dont think it fits 9 of us with the lotus thingy to dance on the stage.LMAO
guess one word to describe it would be CHAOS!
haha
and trust me.we are so freaking nervous that we dont even remember the dance steps
shit like hell wei!
and its so funny that we actually more nervous when we perform to the VIPs rather than when we actual perform in genting where the real competition starts
*notice the green colour thingy?we need to walk with it.and trust me.its hard and it takes a lot of FALL effort on that*
guess what?
we got positive comments from the VIPs
and they even predict that we have chance to win the competition
COOLIO!hahaha
and when the day for us to perform in genting has come
all kind of feeling is playing inside our heart
..EXCITEMENT.JOY.NERVOUS..
u name it, we got it!!
looking at others from other country who looks so professional
makes us realised
this is real man!!haha
and let the competition begin !!
and i am proudly to say that
this was the BEST performance we ever had compare to the practices and everything
all of us dance gracefully with smile on our face
and the most important thing
NONE OF US FELL FROM OUR PROPS
hahahaHAHAHAhahaha
and too bad we did not stay for the closing ceremony which is the day after tomorrow
but being the leader,cassey accompanied by kah boon
have stayed a little bit longer for the results
and guess what?
